I Speak Lamb arrives alongside its companion project, I Speak Lion, with both albums representing a new creative season for TY Bello. The paired releases were introduced through special listening and worship gatherings in Lagos and Abuja, where Bello shared the heart, message and spiritual direction behind the music.

The album opens with “Ebenezer” featuring BisiManuel, Tonye Cole and Theophilus Ogaga, before moving into songs such as “Light My Fire,” “Kilode,” “Tafi,” “Taking My Soul Back,” “Ya Yesu,” “Glory to the Lord,” “I Only Have Eyes for You,” “Holy Ghost Air” and “Balogun.” The lengthy tracklist allows the project to move naturally between structured songs and extended worship moments.

Other notable records include “Speak,” “Nothing Without You,” “Oja,” “Catching Fire,” “Big God” and the closing track “Shalom.” Several of these songs run well beyond the traditional radio format, with “Big God” lasting around 40 minutes and “Shalom” extending to nearly 42 minutes, giving the album the feel of a sustained worship encounter rather than a conventional pop release.

TY Bello also surrounds herself with a wide range of collaborators across the project, including Folabi Nuel, Tomi Favored, Godswill Oyor, Toyin Oyemade, Emmanuel Abadi, Ellie Scotte, Esther Longe, Esther Benyeogo, Moses Akoh, Abbey Ojomu, Sinach and several others. Their contributions give the album a communal character while keeping TY Bello’s distinctive worship style at the centre.

With I Speak Lamb, TY Bello delivers one of her most extensive faith-centred projects yet. The album feels less like a collection of individual songs and more like a long-form spiritual journey, combining worship, prayer, collaboration and reflection into a body of work designed to be experienced slowly and deeply.
