Lady shares her boyfriend’s heated reaction to her repeated Valentine’s Day demands, despite his claims of financial difficulty.
The young woman took to social media to express shock after receiving a long voice note from her boyfriend, who appeared visibly upset over her constant questions about Valentine’s Day plans.
According to her, she had only asked casually where he intended to take her out for the romantic celebration, but the simple question triggered an emotional outburst she never expected.
She explained that the conversation happened at a time when her boyfriend had earlier complained about being financially strained, yet she did not think her inquiry would offend him so deeply.
Man laments constant demands
In the voice note she shared online, the man could be heard expressing frustration over what he described as repeated pressure to spend money he did not currently have.
He complained that he was tired of what he called “billing from left and right,” insisting that he was not picking money from the ground and that life was hard for him at the moment.
He warned her strongly to stop sending what he referred to as “useless demands,” stressing that he was doing his best to survive financially.
According to him, constantly thinking about outings, dates, and celebrations would only push him into deeper financial trouble.
Boyfriend questions her priorities
The man went further to question her priorities, reminding her of a Valentine business idea she had previously mentioned to him.
He argued that instead of focusing on where he would take her out, she should be thinking about productive ways to make money and improve her life.
He said he was willing to support her business plans with whatever little he could gather, but not extravagant celebrations that would drain him financially.
His tone suggested fear that continuing the relationship under such expectations could eventually make him broke and financially unstable.
He also pointed out that while other people were using January to plan their future and set goals, she seemed focused only on Valentine’s Day enjoyment.
