About Smash SA – Intro ft DJ ALE, Smilo, Wesley Keys & Imbongi Ehlukumezekile

Smash Sa opens the 2026 project Kude with the track Intro, setting the tone for a nine-track journey. Rooted in South African collaboration culture, this first track features an ensemble of voices including DJ ALE, Smilo, Wesley Keys and Imbongi Ehlukumezekile, emphasizing a collective creative process.

The collaborative spirit shines through as these artists come together under Smash SA’s direction, blending distinctive styles across the project’s opening number. Positioned as the first of nine, Intro serves as both a welcome and a prelude to the diverse sounds that follow on Kude.

2026 marks a continuation of South African music’s rich tradition of partnership and shared artistry, embodied here in a track that balances individual contributions with a unified vision. Through this approach-first ethos, the project builds momentum right from its starting point.
