About Blacks Jnr – Gqobetsa ft. Woza Bakzin

Blacks Jnr closes out his 2026 project with the twelfth track, Gqobetsa, a collaborative effort featuring Woza Bakzin. This final piece on the album uMjovo exemplifies the artist’s dedication to a collaboration-first writing approach, blending distinct voices within the South African music scene.

Throughout uMjovo, the interplay between artists creates a layered listening experience, culminating in Gqobetsa as a fitting conclusion. The track’s position as the last of twelve signals a thoughtful project structure, where each contribution builds toward a collective narrative rather than individual spotlight moments.

With its release in 2026, uMjovo and particularly its closing track reflect a contemporary South African soundscape shaped by cooperative songwriting. The pairing with Woza Bakzin reinforces this ethos, marking the track as a notable example of how collaboration can shape a cohesive musical journey.
