About AkiidMusiq – Pump

Emerging from the vibrant South African music scene, AkiidMusiq delivers a compelling offering with Pump, a standout track nestled as the ninth entry on the Pointer project. This album-first approach shapes the song’s place within a collection of thirteen carefully curated pieces, emphasizing a cohesive artistic vision over isolated singles.

Released in 2026, Pump contributes to the dynamic flow of Pointer, reflecting the deliberate sequencing that guides listeners through the entire project. Its position, nearing the latter part of the album, invites a deeper engagement as the narrative and soundscape evolve across the thirteen tracks.
