Nigerian content creator, Peller, has sparked conversations online after he openly mocked Geh Gehโs students and supporters who allegedly contributed money to help him buy a luxury car, despite not owning cars themselves.
The drama began shortly after Geh Geh proudly unveiled his brand new Mercedes Benz on social media, attributing his ability to purchase the vehicle to the generous gifts and support he had received from fans and followers on TikTok.
Reacting to this development, Peller threw subtle jabs at the fans who had sent virtual โlion giftsโ and other costly rewards on TikTok. He questioned their priorities, noting that some of them might not even own cars themselves while funding someone elseโs luxury lifestyle.
In his words, Peller said โฆ
โGeh Geh don buy car now. Where those students wey dey gift am lion for that TikTok? Where them dey? If una no get carโฆ one guy wey gift am big lionโฆ hope say you get car?โ
His remarks quickly went viral, stirring debates among netizens who had mixed opinions about his statement. Some agreed with him, criticizing people who spend heavily on influencers while struggling with their own needs. Others, however, accused Peller of being hypocritical, pointing out that he too had benefited from online gifts in the past.
