According to his narration, his ordeal began at the tender age of 19 when he was arrested by authorities and subsequently sent to prison over allegations that linked him to the death of a man he was sharing a room with at the time.

Man.

Despite repeatedly proclaiming his innocence and insisting that he had no hand in his friend’s death, the man revealed that he remained incarcerated for a total of 29 years, eight months, and three days.

He explained that his only link to the tragic incident was the fact that he was present in the same room where the deceased was later found, a circumstance that ultimately led to his conviction and years of prolonged imprisonment.

The man described the experience as devastating, noting that his youth, dreams, and productive years were taken away due to what he believes was a gross failure of the justice system.

His words …

“I went to prison at the age of 19. I spent 29 years, 8 months, and three days behind bars simply because I was sleeping in a room with a friend who later d!ed…”
