‎Details of the incident emerged from a social media post later reposted by another Facebook user, Maria Ude Nwachi, revealing that the situation escalated into a heated verbal disagreement involving Eze, his girlfriend, and her mother.

‎According to the account shared online, the man claimed there was an understanding between himself, his girlfriend, and her family that he would sponsor her nursing education with the agreement that they would get married after she completed her studies.

‎However, after successfully finishing nursing school last year, the woman reportedly refused to honour the alleged agreement and distanced herself from the marriage plans, prompting Eze to begin seeking legal advice on what options, if any, are available to him.

‎In the post shared by Maria Ude Nwachi, James Eze was quoted as saying: “James Eze👉I had a verbal agreement with my girlfriend and her mom to sponsor her to nursing school, then we marry afterwards. She completed last year and now wants to reject me. What are my legal options please?”.

‎The post has since gone viral across social media platforms, igniting widespread debate and emotional reactions from netizens, many of whom shared strong opinions on relationships, financial support, and expectations tied to marriage.
