A young lady has emotionally narrated how her phone was stolen through the window of her newly rented apartment less than 24 hours after she moved in, leaving her devastated and heartbroken.
She took to social media to share her ordeal, explaining that she had just settled into the apartment when the unfortunate incident occurred.
Lady on how her phone vanished
According to her, the thief struck while she was fast asleep, quietly reaching through the window to snatch the device without waking her. She woke up in shock, unable to comprehend how such a thing could happen on her very first night in a place she hoped would give her a fresh start.
She explained that she had barely been in the apartment for a few hours, and after finally settling down to rest, she never imagined she would wake up to discover her phone missing—taken so effortlessly through the window.
Lady expresses frustration
The heartbroken tenant expressed deep frustration and helplessness, revealing that securing the apartment had depleted her savings. Losing her phone so soon after moving in felt like another painful setback, especially when she was trying to rebuild her life.
She lamented that every time she makes progress, something seems to go wrong, leaving her feeling overwhelmed and unsure of where to begin again.

“It’s my first night in the apartment I paid for. I didn’t even sleep up to 3 hours. I woke up to see that someone has stolen my phone from the window, like for god’s sake. Why is it that when someone is trying to fix their life, one thing or the other comes destroys it. Where do you want me to start from? I literally spent all I have in getting this apartment.”
