A Nigerian lady has ignited intense discussions across social media after sharing her shocking experience with a man who allegedly gifted her the sum of N1 million simply because he admired her hairy legs.
The revelation, which was made in a now-viral video, has divided opinions online, with many Nigerians debating morality, priorities, and the spending habits of some wealthy individuals.
Narrating the encounter, the lady explained that the man approached her casually on the road and struck up a conversation, claiming he liked her hairy skin and that she resembled someone familiar to him.
“Nigeria men are the problem. This man stopped me on the road and said he likes my hairy skin and that I resemble someone he knows. I thought he recognised me from social media, so I was friendly,” she said.
According to her, the conversation took an unexpected turn when the man asked if she had bought Christmas clothes. After she replied in the negative, he requested her bank account details.
She said she was stunned when she received an alert of N1 million shortly after, all because of her physical appearance.
“The next thing I saw was N1 million for having hairy legs. He collected my number, gave me his card and said I should call him, but I won’t because I have a boyfriend,” she added.

According to her, situations like this reveal that some men actively fuel such behaviour through their actions.
She concluded by saying that if women are often called “gold diggers,” then men who give out money freely without reason are “gold planters.”
