Lady Gives Emotional Account After Watching Attack Video

The lady, identified as @balogun_onome on X, said the video left her deeply heartbroken. According to her, her attention was drawn to the behaviour of the pastor at the moment the attack unfolded.

She explained that she had to replay parts of the clip because what she saw shocked her, leaving her disappointed and saddened.

Pastor Allegedly Flees First While Worshippers Scramble for Safety

In her account, she claimed that the pastor was the very first person to run for safety as soon as the violent incident erupted within the church premises.

She said watching him quickly attempt to hide while church members—who look up to him for spiritual covering—panicked and struggled was painful and upsetting.

The lady emphasised how heartbreaking it was to see an elderly woman visibly confused and attempting to conceal herself while the pastor sought protection for himself without offering guidance or support to his congregation.

She wrote:

“When I watched this video below, my heart truly sank. I found myself focusing on the pastor, and it hurt to see that he was the first person to run. In that moment of danger, he was searching for a safe place for himself without showing any concern for the very church members he leads.

The same pastor who asks us to pray for protection was desperately trying to secure his own safety. That alone broke me.

It was painful to watch that elderly woman struggling to hide while the pastor had already left everyone behind in fear. Moments like this remind you that when things go wrong, sometimes you are truly on your own.

God has given us wisdom, strength, and the ability to act, yet some still expect Him to intervene physically while they do nothing. Even in the Bible, battles were fought by people—with God’s guidance—not with empty words. Blood met blood, action met action.”

The lady’s remarks sparked conversations online, with many agreeing with her perspective, while others argued that the pastor, being human, reacted out of instinct and fear like anyone else would in such a traumatic moment.
