This revelation comes after Eniola, a native of Oyo, boldly declared her intention on November 26 to embark on this culinary marathon in Ibadan, scheduled for December 1.

In a recent Facebook post on Monday, December 4, Eniola candidly shared the factors that influenced her decision, citing the responsibilities of motherhood as a primary constraint. The 25-year-old herb enthusiast revealed that her current focus is on nursing her child, which has led to the cancellation of her ambitious Agbo A Thon.

In her own words:

“…Exposing her to long hours of smoke is a danger to her health, and she’s currently teething, and more clingy to me. Just for the past few days of me doing rehearsals for the Agbo A Thon, has landed her in the hospital because she was lacking my attention.”

She further explained, “The decision for me to cancel my Agbo A Thon was a hard one, but I believe my daughter will be proud of me in the future that I choose her health first before any other thing.”

Accompanying her heartfelt message was a poignant image of her toddler, emphasizing the challenges faced during her marathon practice sessions. Eniola's prioritization of her child's well-being over the pursuit of a world record highlights the complexities and sacrifices often associated with the intersection of personal goals and familial responsibilities.
