A member of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, identified as Chibuzor Opara, has stirred massive reactions online after sharing a dramatic testimony of how he allegedly survived an armed robbery attack in which bullets could not penetrate his body.

The testimony, which was captured during a church service, has since gone viral across social media platforms, drawing a mix of amazement, skepticism, humour, and intense debate among Nigerians.

Attack on Christmas Morning

According to Chibuzor, the frightening encounter happened in the early hours of December 25 while he was returning home after Christmas celebrations.

He revealed that he was travelling inside a tricycle (popularly known as keke) alongside other passengers when armed men suddenly blocked the main road.

He explained that immediately they noticed the obstruction, the robbers emerged from the bush wielding weapons and ordered everyone to step out of the vehicle without resistance.

The sudden ambush reportedly threw the passengers into fear as they complied with the instructions to avoid being harmed.

Refusal to Lie Down

After everyone came down from the tricycle, the armed robbers instructed them to lie face-down on the ground.

However, Chibuzor said he boldly refused to obey the order, declaring his identity as a member of Lord’s Chosen and expressing strong confidence that no harm could come to him.

His action reportedly shocked both the robbers and other victims who expected him to comply like the rest.

Threats and Gunshot

Chibuzor narrated that one of the robbers became angry and threatened to shoot him if he did not lie down immediately.

He said he stood his ground and repeatedly told the gunman that he could not be shot because he was a Chosen member.

As he moved closer while making his declaration, the robber allegedly fired a gunshot directly at his chest.

According to Chibuzor, the bullet mysteriously failed to penetrate his body, leaving him completely unharmed.

‘I Looked Like a Giant’

Following the gunshot, Chibuzor claimed something extraordinary happened to him physically and spiritually.

He said the robber appeared frightened as though he suddenly became bigger in size, describing the moment by saying he “looked like a giant.”

When the gunman attempted to fire another shot, Chibuzor said he rushed towards him, grabbed him, and caused the weapon to fall from his hand.

Immediately after that, the armed robbers allegedly panicked and fled the scene, leaving their victims behind.

In his words: “My name is Chibuzor Opara. My testimony goes like this: I was coming back to my house on 25th December early in the morning, and armed robbers attacked us on our way. They blocked the main road and I’m in keke. Immediately we saw the things they used to block the main road, they came out of the bush and asked us to come out.

We came out and they said we should lie down. I said it is a lie, I cannot lie down. I’m a Chosen. Armed robber, who are you? He said what? I repeated, I’m a Chosen. Who is he? He said he will shoot me. I said he can’t shoot me, I’m a Chosen.

As I was saying it, I was going to the front to meet him. He said, ‘I’ll shoot you.’ I said it is a lie, you can’t shoot me. Before I knew it, he shot me in my chest and the bullet could not enter. Before you know it, I looked like a giant. As I was going to meet him, he was moving back. He wanted to shoot me again. I grabbed him and the gun fell out of his hand. Before you knew it, they ran away.

If not for the God of Chosen, I’ll not be here to testify this testimony.”

Following the testimony, members of the congregation erupted in praise, celebrating what they described as a clear demonstration of divine protection.

Meanwhile, social media users have continued to react strongly, with some expressing belief in miracles, while others questioned the authenticity of the account and called for caution over such claims.
