The Super Eagles, Nigeria's national football team, have been assigned their squad numbers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
Head coach Eric Chelle has selected a 28-man squad, comprising three goalkeepers, eight defenders, eight midfielders, and nine forwards, aiming for a fourth continental title in the tournament running from December 21 to January 18.

Francis Uzoho retains the number one jersey, while Stanley Nwabali, expected to be the first choice, wears number 23. Amas Obasogie completes the goalkeeping unit with number 16.
Defence and Midfield
Captain Wilfred Ndidi keeps number four, Semi Ajayi wears six, and Frank Onyeka remains with number eight. Igho Ogbu takes over number five, previously worn by William Troost-Ekong.

Victor Osimhen leads the forward line in the iconic number nine shirt, while Ademola Lookman takes over number seven. Alex Iwobi sticks with 17, leaving Fisayo Dele-Bashiru to assume the playmaker's jersey. Usman Mohammed inherits the revered number 14 shirt.
Nigeria's group stage fixtures include Tanzania on December 23, Tunisia on December 27, and Uganda on December 30.
