The initiative highlights the Al-Nassr star’s growing focus on long-term ventures, carefully designed to secure his future outside active football while maintaining a powerful presence in the global business and lifestyle space.

Now 40 years old, the Portugal captain remains a key figure for both his country and Al-Nassr, but has openly admitted that the end of his playing days is drawing closer with time.

Ronaldo has previously revealed that he began planning for life after football as early as his mid-20s, acknowledging that while retirement will be emotional, it will be far from overwhelming thanks to years of deliberate preparation and personal development away from the sport.

High-end club to operate with strict privacy rules

Reports from Spanish outlet Libertad Digital indicate that Ronaldo’s hospitality company, Mabel Hospitality, spearheaded by entrepreneur Inigo Onieva alongside business partner Manuel Campos Guallar, is responsible for developing the exclusive Vega Private Members Club.

Located in the prestigious Golden Mile district of Madrid at 88 Lagasca Street, the 1,000-square-metre establishment is expected to open its doors before the end of the year.

Designed to cater to an elite clientele, the club will operate under a firm policy that strictly bans mobile phones and photography, ensuring complete privacy and discretion for all members and their guests.

Three carefully curated spaces will form the heart of the venue’s experience:

Casa Vega – a contemporary bistro offering a refined yet relaxed dining environment,

Vega Restaurant – delivering high-end culinary experiences led by top-tier chefs,

Toto – an Italian-inspired dining lounge with a luxury atmosphere.

In addition, members will enjoy access to a dedicated wine club offering exclusive tastings, private cava events and carefully selected premium collections from renowned vineyards.

Membership fees positioned for the Elite

The club’s most exclusive level of membership will be offered strictly by invitation and requires a one-time payment of €15,000, granting lifetime access, priority reservations and tailor-made experiences designed for the most distinguished guests.

Alternative membership options are also available, beginning at €2,400 per year with an additional €2,000 joining fee, providing a more flexible entry point while still maintaining the club’s luxury status.

Ronaldo eyes life beyond football

Speaking in a recent interview with broadcaster Piers Morgan, Ronaldo explained that retirement will give him the opportunity to dedicate more time to family life while pursuing personal interests such as UFC, padel and a more hands-on role in his business ventures.

Although he admits that nothing can replicate the thrill of scoring a goal in front of thousands of fans, he remains excited about exploring new challenges beyond football.

For now, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner remains fully committed to his football duties and is determined to add more trophies to his collection with Al-Nassr.

The Saudi Pro League side are hopeful of ending their recent trophy drought, while Portugal’s journey toward the 2026 World Cup could present Ronaldo with one final opportunity to chase international glory on the world stage.
