‎Reason For Trump’s Decision

‎In his post, Donald Trump stated his decision aims to allow the U.S. immigration system to recover and to terminate what he described as millions of illegal entries approved under former President Joe Biden’s administration.

‎”I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover, terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions“,The post reads.

‎According to Trump, America’s borders have been overwhelmed, and he believes strong immigration policies are necessary to protect national security, preserve American jobs, and reduce pressure on social services.

Earlier, GistReel reported that Donald Trump threatened military strikes in Nigeria over alleged Christian genocide.

He threatened to withdraw assistance and aid to Nigeria, stating that the U.S. would halt all USAID funding and other help unless the government curbed Christian genocide.

These remarks sparked outrage and concern in several African countries, especially Nigeria, where many citizens and political observers described the comments as provocative.

Following Trump’s threat, another attack occured in Kwara state, after gunmen stormed the Christ Apostolic Church, Eruku [/b]and abducted 38 congregants.

The tragic incident occured on November 18, 2025, when gunmen attacked the church during its evening service, leaving three dead and dozens taken hostage.

The attack further intensified public debate around the issue, with many Nigerians pointing to the country’s growing security challenges and religious tensions.

In a recent development, the abducted congregants have been released, as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu confirmed in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

The president reportedly assured citizens that security agencies were working round the clock to prevent further attacks and restore peace to affected communities.

Meanwhile, the latest development has sparked buzz online, with netizens sharing their thoughts and opinions, as many expressed concern about how Trump’s policy could affect immigrants, refugees, and foreign relations.

While some users applauded Trump for what they described as “putting America first,” others criticised the decision, warning that it could worsen global tensions and damage the U.S.’s international reputation.
