Veteran actor Yul Edochie has once again called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take decisive and immediate action against the worsening wave of kidnappings and killings across Nigeria.

According to Edochie, the level of insecurity sweeping through the country has become deeply alarming, leaving citizens terrified and uncertain about their safety.

Yul Edochie Demands Tougher Measures Against Criminals

Sharing his concerns on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Edochie described the current security breakdown as a major embarrassment to the President and a threat to national stability.

He stressed that the government has both the power and the responsibility to bring the situation under control before it escalates further.

He wrote: “Dear President Tinubu, You have the capacity to crush these bandits and kidnappers who are killing Nigerians daily and even posting it on social media.

“It’s a slap on your face Mr. President. Nigerians are now afraid to travel. Afraid to move around. Everyday innocent lives are being wasted. If you need foreign assistance, seek it. Go hard on these criminals and crush them.”

Nigerians React Strongly to Edochie’s Appeal

Edochie’s comments ignited intense reactions online, with many Nigerians offering mixed opinions. Some praised his boldness, while others questioned his approach or his past stance on political issues.

Samuel Ozonna wrote: “Yul the only way to gain Tinubu’s attention is to curse him, then go back and make peace. Take Reno template.”

Obyno King said: “😂😂😂 How do you expect him to crush his business partners! What do you expect when a sitting president is a drug lord, his Vp a bokoharam sympathiser, his ministers bokoharam members and his ministers, advisers are all Iswap and bandits? Ndi erieri!”

Orabtorblack commented: “I thought you believe Jagaban would fix the country? Are you doubting him? Relax he would fix everything 😁”.

2TwentyTwo added: “Slow your horses, Yul, Tunumbu is cooking up another ambassadorial list, hopefully your name might make it into this new list.”

The conversation continues to trend as Nigerians debate leadership, accountability, and the urgent need for stronger nationwide security reforms.
