‎Recall that GistReel earlier reported that the Federal High Court in Abuja sentenced Nnamdi Kanu to life imprisonment on terrorism charges, including an additional 20-year sentence on one count and a five-year sentence on another, all scheduled to run concurrently.

‎Verydarkman Reacts To Nnamdi Kanu’s Sentencing

‎In a newly shared online video, Verydarkman described Kanu’s sentencing as nothing short of a “national distraction,” insisting that it diverts the attention of Nigerians from the severe insecurity and persistent terrorism across the country.

‎He argued that the case is being used as a tool to escalate division among citizens, adding that given the nature of the charges, “Nnamdi Kanu knew he wasn’t walking out freely from that courtroom.”

‎Verydarkman went further to challenge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu directly, urging him to address the nation’s deteriorating security situation, recover the abducted Kebbi schoolgirls, and take swift action to curb terrorism nationwide.

‎“If you cannot stop the terrorism in Nigeria and play the role of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, then you should resign,” he declared pointedly in the video.

‎Fresh Update on Kwara Church Kidnapping

‎In a related development, the gunmen responsible for abducting 38 worshippers during the tragic Kwara church attack have reportedly demanded a ransom of ₦100 million per victim.

‎As earlier reported, the incident unfolded on November 18, 2025, when heavily armed attackers stormed the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku, killing three worshippers and kidnapping the pastor along with multiple congregants.
