Social media activist and commentator, Verydarkman, has stirred fresh controversy online after releasing an audio recording from a phone conversation he claims involved a woman identified as Chidera Precious Okafor, who alleged that she is the biological daughter of popular Lagos-based cleric, Pastor Chris Okafor.
The audio, which has since gone viral across social media platforms, contains disturbing claims about her time living in Pastor Okafor’s household and has generated intense reactions from the public.
According to the woman in the leaked conversation, she lived with the cleric for several years before leaving the house around 2020. She claimed her decision to leave was prompted by what she described as an increasingly unsafe and emotionally distressing environment.
In her account, she alleged that she was treated differently compared to the other children in the household, explaining that she was the only child from her mother, while the remaining children were from another woman.
She further claimed that the alleged unequal treatment was not subtle, stating that even domestic staff in the house noticed the difference in how she was treated.
The woman narrated that one particular incident deeply unsettled her and ultimately pushed her to leave the house permanently. According to her, the experience involved a private meeting with the cleric that left her traumatised.
In the audio, she introduced herself and gave a detailed narration of her experiences, recounting moments she said made her uncomfortable and fearful while living under Pastor Okafor’s roof.

“My name is Chidera Precious Okafor and I’m the daughter of prophet Dr Chris Okafor. I used to live with him years ago and I left around 2020 because things were about to get out of hand.
While I was living in the house, amongst all my siblings, I am the only one from my mother, while the other four are from a different mom.
While I was living in the house, I used to get treated unfairly, Like it was very visible and even the workers in the house could see it.
One evening he call me to his room, that he wanted to speak to me. After I went into the room, he was standing behind the door, after I went in he locked the door and he said I should sit down. I sat on his bed –”
The audio cuts off at that point, but its content has already triggered widespread outrage, concern, and debate across social media.
Reacting to the testimony, Verydarkman expressed shock and disgust, stating that listening to the audio left him physically sick.

“Pastor chris Okafor this Is yet another pathetically t3rr!ble testimony from one of your daughters, your own flesh and blood… all three adult daughters of yours have given t3rr’ble testimonies. I literally threw up after listening to this particular testimony, at that age wow.”
Verydarkman explained that he decided to make the audio public to amplify the alleged victim’s voice and draw attention to what he described as a disturbing pattern of allegations.
The development comes amid growing controversy surrounding Pastor Chris Okafor, following multiple accusations made by Nollywood actress Doris Ogala and other individuals, all of which the cleric has yet to publicly address in detail.
As the story continues to unfold, Nigerians online are calling for a thorough investigation into the claims, while others urge caution, stressing the importance of due process and verified facts.
