Reality TV star, Phyna, has once again called out the organisers of Big Brother Naija b, claiming that she is yet to receive the full monetary prize attached to her victory on the reality show in 2022.
The BBNaija season 7 winner made this revelation while engaging with her fans during a recent livestream session, where she spoke candidly about her long-standing dispute with the show’s organisers.
Phyna calls out BBNaija
It would be recalled that in 2024, the reality star had taken to social media to publicly reveal that she had not received her full prize money despite emerging winner of the popular reality show.
Since then, Phyna has repeatedly accused the organisers of BBNaija, Multichoice Nigeria, of failing to fully deliver the prize package promised to her at the end of the show.
According to her, several components of the reward are still outstanding, including the cash equivalent of the grand prize, an all-expenses-paid trip for two, as well as product supplies and other benefits from sponsors attached to the show.
Phyna further claimed that the prolonged delay and unresolved issues surrounding her prize have negatively affected both her career and personal life, forcing her to continue speaking out despite facing criticism and backlash from members of the public.
While Multichoice Nigeria has, on different occasions, maintained that it has fulfilled all its obligations to the BBNaija winner, Phyna has continued to dispute these claims, insisting that she has not received everything she was promised.
She stressed that the unresolved payments and lack of clear communication left her with no other option than to take her grievances to the public space.
2026: Phyna speaks on BBNaija prize
During her recent livestream in 2026, Phyna responded to a fan who asked her directly about the much-talked-about ₦100 million prize attached to her BBNaija win.
She explained that she had cried out online in the past, hoping the public would support her, but instead, many people accused her of lying and dismissed her claims.
