Rumors on social media suggested a split between the two, sparked by a netizen's claim that Bella and Sheggz had broken up several weeks ago. The message detailed ongoing issues, even on New Year's Day, kept away from the public eye.

Sheggz has refuted these rumors, asserting that he and Bella, whom he affectionately called his wife, are doing well. He explained their absence during Christmas, citing a visit to his mom as the reason.
In his own words, he stated, "Someone sent a DM. The joblessness in Naija, no one wants to work. This is the last time I'll address nonsense. My wife and I are good; I'm allowed to go and see my family real quick. Didn't see mumsi for New Years or Christmas. Y'all are weird."
