Media personality, Kolu, has publicly appealed to his colleague, Carter Efe, for a ₦7 million loan to help secure the bail of controversial singer, Portable, following his most recent arrest.
The emotional request was made during their recent livestream on Twitch, where the conversation quickly drew attention from viewers and sparked discussions across social media.
Kolu’s plea came amid growing concerns over Portable’s ongoing legal troubles, which have once again placed the singer in police custody over allegations of assault and other related charges.
Kolu seeks loan for Portable’s bail
During the livestream, Kolu openly asked Carter Efe to lend him the sum of ₦7 million, explaining that the money was urgently needed to facilitate Portable’s bail.
He disclosed that Portable had recently been arrested by the police over assault allegations and other charges, and he felt compelled to step in and help during the difficult period.
When Carter Efe questioned why he was so deeply concerned about Portable’s situation, Kolu responded with a heartfelt explanation, crediting the singer for playing a major role in his rise to fame.
According to Kolu, it was Portable who brought him to Lagos and exposed him to opportunities that eventually changed his life and career.
