Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has broken his silence following a heated altercation that reportedly occurred at Odumodublvck’s concert, offering his own account of what led to the dramatic clash.

The incident, which quickly went viral on social media, showed the outspoken singer embroiled in a physical confrontation with several unidentified individuals, sparking widespread reactions online.

Addressing the situation, Portable claimed the trouble started while he was trying to make his way into the concert venue.

According to him, an individual allegedly leaned close and whispered a highly provocative statement into his ear, which he described as an insult against Prophet Muhammad.

He stated that the remark immediately drew the attention of people around him, causing tension to rise rapidly as others gathered at the scene.

Portable insisted that the statement deeply offended him and triggered an instant reaction, leading to the confrontation captured on video.

The singer explained that he refused to retreat in the face of the hostility, claiming he stood his ground despite being surrounded by multiple individuals.

He alleged that the situation quickly turned physical, with blows exchanged on both sides before security and others intervened to calm things down.

Despite the chaos that preceded his performance, Portable claimed the mood shifted completely once he stepped on stage.

According to him, some of the same people involved in the altercation later joined the crowd in cheering and chanting his name during his performance.

His account has since generated mixed reactions online, with supporters praising his courage while others criticised his tendency to get involved in confrontations.
