BBNaija winner Phyna has alleged that Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo [/b]has distanced herself from her following Phyna’s association with controversial online activist and influencer, Verydarkman (VDM).
The reality TV star made the revelation during a recent livestream session where she interacted openly with her fans and addressed issues surrounding her personal relationships and public image.
According to Phyna, her association with VDM began when she sought his assistance in demanding justice for her sister following the widely reported Dangote accident. She noted that her decision to involve him in the matter triggered a chain of events that affected several of her relationships within the entertainment industry.
Phyna speaks on relationship with Iyabo Ojo
While speaking candidly during the livestream, Phyna revealed that Iyabo Ojo, whom she affectionately calls “mama,” used to be very supportive of her online. She claimed the actress regularly liked, commented on, and engaged with her social media posts in the past.
However, she alleged that things changed abruptly, as Iyabo Ojo no longer interacts with her content the way she used to, a shift Phyna strongly believes is connected to her link with VDM.
Expressing her frustration, Phyna referred to Verydarkman as “Very dirty boy,” insisting that her association with him has negatively impacted how certain people now perceive and relate with her.
She further disclosed that the situation did not only affect her bond with Iyabo Ojo but also spilled into other relationships, revealing that she lashed out at fellow reality star Vee Iyele online due to emotions and issues tied to the same controversy.
Phyna explained that the tension surrounding the matter left her feeling misunderstood and isolated, especially by people she once considered close allies within the industry.

“I feel mama doesn’t like me that much again because before she used to comment on my posts, she used to like it, now she no longer likes it and I’m very sure it’s because of that d!rty boy. I even went as far as attacking Vee Iyele because of that dirty boy.”
