Nigerian singer and entertainer, Kokopee, has publicly criticised Peller over what he described as a disturbing suicide attempt, stating that the TikTok streamer appeared ready to “kpai” himself for love, likening the situation to the tragic story of Romeo.
Kokopee’s remarks followed a widely circulated incident involving Peller suicide attempt during a live TikTok video, where the content creator was seen in an emotional state while driving his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz.
Emotional livestream ends in crash
According to online reports, the Peller suicide attempt reportedly began during a livestream in which he broke down in tears, spoke emotionally about his relationship struggles, and made alarming statements suggesting he might take his own life.
Moments after the emotional outburst, the situation escalated as Peller suicide attempt allegedly culminated in him losing control of the vehicle, leading to a crash involving his new Mercedes-Benz.
Another video that later surfaced online showed the aftermath of the Peller suicide attempt, with concerned bystanders and onlookers rushing to assist him before he was taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Public reactions trail incident
The Peller suicide attempt quickly sparked widespread reactions across social media, with fans, influencers, and concerned Nigerians expressing shock, worry, and disappointment over the incident.
Many questioned how the situation was allowed to escalate to such a dangerous point, especially given that the incident unfolded in real time during a livestream watched by thousands.
Reacting to the development, Kokopee openly expressed disappointment over the Peller suicide attempt, questioning whether people close to the TikTok streamer had offered him proper guidance or attempted to calm him down before things got out of hand.
He specifically asked whether friends like Sabalo tried to caution Peller, or if the suicide attempt reflected a refusal to listen to advice from those around him.
Kokopee further noted that many men have experienced deep love, heartbreak, and break-ups, cried briefly, and eventually moved on without resorting to self-harm or putting their lives in danger.
Kokopee condemns action
Strongly condemning the Peller suicide attempt, Kokopee stated that attempting to die over a breakup with his girlfriend, Jarvis, was unacceptable and unnecessary.
He warned that when a man cries excessively over a woman, it could cause her to lose respect for him and begin to perceive him as weak, regardless of the emotional pain involved.
Kokopee concluded by advising Peller to act responsibly and maturely, stressing that excessive emotional dependence and over-care can sometimes push women to threaten separation rather than strengthen a relationship.
