The outspoken message, delivered during a church service, has since gone viral, drawing attention from social media users who praised and criticized the cleric in equal measure.

In a viral clip shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @honest30bgfan, the pastor advised women not to emotionally confine themselves to one man who has not clearly stated his intention to marry.

According to Pastor Ebuka, many women waste valuable years waiting for men who are unsure of their intentions, leaving them heartbroken and emotionally drained.

Instead, he encouraged women to prayerfully engage and observe multiple suitors without intimacy, until God reveals the right person.

He emphasized that this approach allows women to properly assess character, seriousness, and long-term commitment rather than relying on promises or assumptions.

“Date four, five, six guys. Just make sure you don’t sleep with any of them. You can be studying three at a time to know the one God will choose,” he said.

According to him, there is nothing wrong with talking to more than one man when none has officially declared marriage intentions.

The cleric further explained that commitment should not be demanded or given when the relationship status is still undefined and lacks direction.

He stressed that exclusivity should begin only at engagement, not during unclear talking stages where no formal commitment has been made.

Pastor Ebuka questioned why many women remain loyal to men who have never discussed marriage, never introduced them to family members, or made any concrete plans for the future.

He warned that such situations often lead to wasted time and emotional manipulation, especially when women assume commitment where none exists.

“When God has selected the right one, that person will engage you,” he added.

The message has sparked mixed reactions online. While some users criticized the advice as confusing or unrealistic, others applauded the pastor for addressing what they described as a harsh dating reality.

A commentator wrote, “This doesn’t make any sense.” Another said, “Pastor said the absolute truth.”

Several users noted that the sermon reflects the changing dynamics of modern relationships and the need for clearer communication about intentions.

The sermon has since continued to fuel conversations around dating, commitment, and emotional boundaries in modern relationships.
