Gospel musician Nathaniel Bassey responds to a video where an MC pranked an audience at an event using his name.
The video, shared on Nathaniel Bassey’s Instagram page, initially raised the audience's hopes by falsely announcing that the singer would perform at the event.[/p>
Unaware that the announcement was a joke, everyone stood up and eagerly anticipated the arrival of the gospel singer.
The DJ pranked the crowd even more by starting to play a Nathaniel Bassey tune.
But after informing the crowd that Nathaniel Bassey wasn’t really among them, the MC crushed their expectations.
He asked why they were all expecting Nathaniel Bassey when they didn’t pay him for an appearance. Nathaniel Bassey humorously responded to the video, calling the stunt an expensive joke.
