Nigerian skitmaker and singer Nasiru Lawal, popularly known as Nasboi, has shared a candid reflection on fame, money, and his long-term plans, offering fans a rare glimpse into the pressures that come with life in the spotlight.

“I will choose having money over being famous… I no fit try this kind thing for my next life again. Once my money complete 5 billion, I don disembark. I no do again… No skit, no music, no acting. Make brain rest.”
The post revealed that Nasboi has already mapped out a clear exit strategy from the entertainment industry, noting that once he reaches his personal financial milestone, he plans to walk away completely.
He explained that the plan includes quitting skit-making, music, and acting altogether, as he believes he has given enough of his energy and creativity to the industry.
For Nasboi, the magic number is ₦5 billion, a figure he says will allow him to live comfortably without the constant demands of content creation, public scrutiny, and online pressure.
After years of balancing comedy, music, acting, and social media fame, the entertainer said what he desires most now is rest, stability, and a quieter life away from public attention.
