A young man has ignited widespread attention and discussion across social media after alleging that Senator Ned Nwoko, the billionaire Nigerian politician, offered him and other individuals N5 million each to carry out a plan to kill his estranged wife, popular actress Regina Daniels. The shocking claim has once again thrust the couple’s highly publicised marital issues into the spotlight, reigniting debates and speculation surrounding their relationship.

Ned Nwoko has been at the centre of media attention in recent months due to rumours of a marital breakdown with Regina Daniels, which have dominated entertainment news. While the couple appears to have separated and moved on individually, the recent allegation has generated renewed scrutiny from the public, with many questioning the seriousness of the claims and their potential implications.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the young man, whose face was partially concealed for safety reasons, claimed that the Senator directly instructed them to assassinate Regina Daniels. According to him, Nwoko provided detailed information, including Daniels’ location and schedule, presumably to facilitate the act. The young man insisted that he and others refused the task due to the high risk involved and their personal conscience, stating that they could not carry out such an act.

He reportedly said in the video: “Ned Nwoko told us to go and kill Regina Daniels, gave us her location and the time she was going to move, but we refused to do it, because… I cannot do it.”

The man further alleged that merely appearing in the video and speaking out placed his life in danger. He also claimed that the Senator had paid them N5 million each as part of the alleged scheme and reportedly issued a warning to Regina Daniels, urging her to be cautious during the current ember months, a period traditionally associated with increased vigilance and safety concerns in Nigeria.

This revelation has sparked mixed reactions across social media platforms. Many Nigerians expressed shock, fear, and disbelief, with some questioning the veracity of the claim, while others called for immediate investigations by law enforcement agencies to ascertain the truth and ensure the safety of those involved. The viral nature of the video has intensified public interest, with users engaging in debates over celebrity safety, political influence, and the legal consequences of such allegations.
