Controversial Nigerian street-hop singer, Portable, has once again stirred up online drama after publicly calling out Tanzanian music star Juma Jux, who is also the husband of Nigerian celebrity Priscilla Ojo. The confrontation arose after Juma Jux reportedly visited Nigeria and recorded a song without informing Portable, igniting debate among fans and music enthusiasts on social media.

Portable took to his Instagram page to express his shock and disappointment upon discovering that Juma Jux had quietly entered the country to collaborate on a new track titled “Halima” with Portable’s associate, Ekunrawo. The singer appeared frustrated that no one reached out to him before or during the recording process, emphasizing his expectation to be included given his connection to the project.

The Zazu crooner questioned why he was left out of the loop and insisted that, since the song is already completed and released, arrangements must be made to feature him on the track. He further demanded recognition and participation in the collaboration to maintain fairness and uphold professional courtesy within the music circle.

In his Instagram caption, Portable wrote:

“So @juma_jux enter Naija do song with my bro @officialekunrawo and nobody tell me. E don set oo. Una must find space for me for this Halima song. Artiste @officialekunrawo featuring @juma_jux. Song title Halima.”

Portable’s statement immediately sparked reactions across multiple social media platforms. Fans and followers debated the seriousness of the situation, with some suggesting that Juma Jux should respond, while others believed it would be better for him to ignore Portable’s outburst to avoid fueling further drama.

One social media user commented, “Portable wants to appear on every song. Fear this guy.” Another added, “Juma Jux just entered wahala. Portable has entered the chat,” reflecting the humor and concern surrounding the incident.

This incident is not the first time Portable has made headlines for similar confrontations. The singer is well-known for his outspoken personality and has previously criticized major Nigerian artists. Recently, he publicly criticized Olamide for not including him in his London show, claiming that one of his own hit songs contributed significantly to Olamide’s international recognition. These patterns of outspokenness have earned him both supporters and critics in the Nigerian music industry.

What began as a routine music collaboration has now escalated into a trending topic on social media, largely due to Portable’s insistence on being acknowledged and included in music projects linked to his associates. Music fans continue to discuss the dynamics between artists and the importance of communication and collaboration etiquette in the industry.
