Popular Nigerian rapper and actor, Ikechukwu Onunaku, has revealed that his marriage to Brunella Oscar has come to an end.
The former Mohits rapper, who tied the knot with his lover in May 2021 in a high-profile wedding, recently shared the unfortunate news of their separation due to irreconcilable issues.
In a candid interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, the 40-year-old rapper cited gaslighting, constant fault-finding, and interference from third parties as contributing factors to the breakdown of their marriage.
He expressed that his ex-wife oppressed him and consistently made him feel inadequate, leading to the decision to part ways.
He stated,
“My wife and I are no longer together. We separated due to irreconcilable differences. It wasn’t over infidelity. There was too much gaslighting, too much fault-finding, and too much listening to outsiders.
“I tried to save our marriage, but I got to a point where I couldn’t tolerate my ex-wife’s excesses anymore, and I showed her my other side, and we couldn’t bear it.”
