In a detailed post shared on his Instagram page, Yomi explained that the troubling video was allegedly sent to him by Mohbad’s younger brother. He claimed the brother intended to use the clip to blackmail him financially, but instead, he decided to go public because the matter concerns justice for the late singer.

Speaking further, Yomi said,

“I am putting my life on the line to make sure justice is done. This video proves what really happened, and it cannot be ignored. I will not stay silent while the truth is hidden and those responsible go unpunished.”

The actor described the content of the clip as containing “murder evidence” and what he believes to be a direct “confession.” He added that because of how sensitive the material is, he is calling on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to urgently intervene to prevent any attempt to suppress the truth.

He went on to say, “They want to silence me and use the video against you in the next election, your excellency. Please look into this matter immediately. I don’t understand why being loyal to your government has suddenly become a problem. They want to weaponize this against you in the coming election, your excellency, kindly take action.”

Yomi also highlighted the need for thorough accountability, naming Wunmi Cynthia and others as individuals who must be questioned. He insisted that justice must not be delayed and that no one should be above the law, stressing that Nigerians deserve transparency and a system that works equally for everyone.

His explosive claims have reignited national interest in Mohbad’s controversial death, raising fresh questions about whether this newly revealed “evidence” will move the case forward or create more confusion among the public.
