Popular Nigerian TikTok personality Jarvis has shared her view that women tend to recover from breakups faster than men, a statement that has since sparked massive reactions across social media platforms.
She made the remark following her highly publicised split from fellow content creator, Peller, a relationship that had previously attracted admiration and controversy among fans.
The influencer’s comments quickly went viral, with many users debating whether emotional healing truly comes easier for women or if it simply appears that way from the outside.
Jarvis speaks on moving on
In a recent video making the rounds online, Jarvis explained that her self-confidence and strong sense of self-worth helped her move on without difficulty, stressing that she did not feel emotionally trapped or broken by the end of the relationship.
She emphasized that knowing her value made it impossible for heartbreak to slow her down or define her happiness.

According to her, women do not dwell too long on heartbreak, especially when they are secure in who they are and what they bring to the table.
She added that emotional strength, self-love, and independence make it easier to walk away from situations that no longer serve one’s growth or peace of mind.
“It is easy for girls to move on fast [after a breakup]. No time. What were you expecting? I am classy, I am everything I want to be. So, it is not hard for us to move on,” she said.
Her confident tone and choice of words resonated with many female followers who praised her mindset and emotional maturity.
However, some critics argued that healing looks different for everyone and should not be generalized by gender.
Peller and Jarvis’ breakup
While Jarvis appears to have moved forward with ease, Peller has given a different impression since the breakup.
He has openly expressed lingering hurt from the separation, stating that he no longer believes in love and has ruled out marriage, particularly with a Nigerian woman.
His emotional reactions online have drawn sympathy from fans who believe he is still struggling to process the end of the relationship.
The pair’s relationship had previously drawn attention late last year after Peller was involved in a serious car incident during a period of emotional turmoil linked to their breakup.
Many social media users at the time connected the incident to stress and heartbreak surrounding their separation.
He later confirmed that they had gone their separate ways weeks after the incident, officially bringing their once-admired romance to an end.
Since then, both influencers have continued to trend individually, with fans closely following their personal journeys and emotional recovery.
