Socialite, Georgina Onuoha has strongly criticised Senator Ned Nwoko over his ongoing public dispute with his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels, describing his conduct as troubling, excessive, and inappropriate for someone of his status.
In a lengthy statement shared online, Onuoha argued that the senator’s repeated social media posts, interviews, and public allegations against the young actress reflect a pattern of control and intimidation rather than genuine concern or maturity.

She claimed that the senator’s continued public engagement, including repeated accusations, subtle threats, and personal attacks directed at Daniels, was unbecoming of a senior public figure and called for restraint, dignity, and respect for privacy.
According to Onuoha, disagreements within a marriage should not be turned into a public spectacle, especially when one party appears to be using influence and public platforms to dominate the narrative.
Onuoha further expressed concern about the age difference in the relationship, noting that Regina Daniels was still a teenager at the time the relationship began, and stressed that every individual has the right to leave relationships they no longer find safe, healthy, or fulfilling without fear of retaliation.
She emphasised that choosing to walk away from a marriage does not justify public shaming, intimidation, or attempts to discredit one’s character.
The socialite also condemned what she described as deliberate attempts to damage Daniels’ reputation, particularly allegations of substance abuse, which she noted were contradicted by independent drug test results that surfaced online.
She described such allegations as harmful, reckless, and potentially dangerous, especially given the mental and emotional toll public accusations can take.

According to her, the situation highlights a broader issue in society regarding how women are treated when they decide to exit relationships, warning that sustained public pressure, intimidation, and character attacks can have serious psychological and social consequences.
She added that public figures must be especially mindful of the power imbalance that exists in such situations and should avoid actions that could be perceived as harassment or coercion.
Onuoha called on Senator Nwoko to respect Daniels’ decision and allow her to move on with her life peacefully, adding that Nigerians should speak up against what she described as harassment, bullying, and reputational harm targeted at women.
She concluded by urging the public to show empathy and fairness, noting that no one deserves to be vilified simply for choosing themselves and prioritising their wellbeing.
