Popular Nigerian rapper and human rights activist, Folarin Falana, widely known as Falz, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to resign from office following the shocking abduction of over 100 students in Niger State.
This comes after armed attackers invaded St. Mary’s Catholic School in Papiri, Agwara Local Government Area during the early hours of November 21, whisking away numerous students and staff members in a coordinated assault that has sparked nationwide outrage.

Confirming the tragic incident, the Niger State Police revealed that tactical units, military operatives, and other security agencies have launched an extensive search operation, combing surrounding forests in an effort to rescue the abducted victims.
Authorities in the state also criticized the school management for reopening without official clearance—despite prior security warnings alerting them to potential risks in the area.
Tinubu urged to step down
Falz, reacting strongly to the worsening state of insecurity, stated that President Tinubu has completely failed in his constitutional duty to protect Nigerians.

Expressing his frustration, the rapper demanded that the president resign immediately, arguing that the government has shown no capacity to safeguard the lives of its citizens.
He wrote…
“YOU HAVE FAILED WOEFULLY @officialABAT TENDER YOUR RESIGNATION NOW!”
Netizens have since flooded the comment section with heated reactions. One user, @Donxab, wrote: “Sir, with all due respect, resignation is too merciful. People need to be in prison for criminal negligence. How do you sleep when schools are now kidnapping farms?”
Another commenter, @Elow_vin, added: “If he resigns, will his whole cabinet go too? They all need to leave because what is happening in this country is really messy.”
