Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has come forward with a detailed account of the distressing events surrounding her recent arrest, revealing that her domestic staff agent allegedly played a role in her being tracked due to her ongoing public feud with her alleged ex-lover, pastor Chris Okafor, over claims of marriage betrayal and personal disputes.
In a statement shared on her official Instagram account, Doris linked the incident directly to her long-standing issues with Pastor Okafor, who recently remarried, a development that had triggered heated discussions and debates across social media platforms, fueling public attention on their disagreements.

According to Doris, the trouble started with a domestic staff agent who had allegedly been extorting her over several months. She explained that in just four months, the agent had supplied three different house helps to her household, each of whom reportedly caused complications related to their contracts and duties.
“I just discovered this December that she has been extorting me, and we had an issue. I walked her out of my house,” Doris explained, recounting the initial confrontation that seemed to escalate the situation.
Doris further claimed that one of the house helps insisted on leaving earlier than agreed. The staff member was supposed to stay until the 23rd of the month but reportedly demanded to leave on the 10th, creating tension just days before her arrest.
She alleged that the domestic staff agent was aware of her ongoing social media feud with Pastor Chris Okafor and, leveraging this knowledge, allegedly reached out to him regarding the situation, thus drawing outside attention to what Doris maintains should have been a private domestic matter.
Expressing her frustration, Doris questioned the extreme response from law enforcement, noting that a domestic dispute should not have warranted a full house search. “If it was a domestic issue, why would you come with a search warrant and search my house? They only saw cigarettes,” she said, highlighting the perceived overreach by authorities.
Doris recounted her arrest experience, stating that she was taken to Force CID, where she was detained overnight in an isolated room. She described being denied access to her phone and treated “like a criminal,” an experience she said was humiliating and traumatic.
The post has generated significant attention online, drawing various reactions from social media users. Many expressed outrage over her treatment, with comments such as, “Nigeria system is corrupt… Gooosh,” and others offering support: “You have done so well by speaking your truth. May God vindicate you.”
