A female friend of late Afrofuji singer Afeez Adeshina, popularly known as Destiny Boy, has taken to social media to emotionally share the last voice note she received from the singer before his untimely demise.

It would be recalled that Destiny Boy reportedly died at the age of 22, a development that plunged fans, friends, and colleagues in the entertainment industry into deep sorrow.

Reports had claimed that the singer vomited shortly before his death and was later buried on January 18, 2025, in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Following the confirmation of his passing, several videos and photos allegedly showing the singer’s remains surfaced online and quickly went viral, triggering emotional reactions and renewed conversations about the circumstances surrounding his death.

Amid the outpouring of grief, a lady identified as @bigzeenah8 on TikTok came forward to share the final voice note Destiny Boy sent to her while he was still alive.
She shared the audio alongside an emotional caption expressing disbelief and pain over his death, noting that it still felt unreal to her.
Her caption read: “E still be like dream person wey tell me say I just I forget him I will forever miss him voice. God this one pain me. Koda o. This one deep o destiny boy.”
In the short but touching voice note, the late singer could be heard appreciating her for remembering him, saying: “You remember us today, God will continue to make you remember us.”
