Renowned Afrobeat artist, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has made a remarkable announcement, pledging a generous sum of N300 million to orphanages across Nigeria.
The Grammy-nominated singer shared this philanthropic commitment on the microblogging platform, X.
In the midst of the hardship in Nigeria, the altruistic artist expressed his annual dedication to the nation by promising a substantial N300 million donation to orphanages.
Furthermore, Davido disclosed that the distribution of funds is set to commence tomorrow.
He stated, “I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria … as my yearly contribution to the Nation ❤️ .. details of disbursement tomorrow 🇳🇬”
