Popular influencer, Baddy of Lagos, has reached an important milestone in his recovery journey as he takes his first steps following an orthopedic surgery to straighten his leg, which was performed in Egypt several months ago. The surgery marks a significant step forward for the influencer, who has been battling a congenital condition that caused his legs to be bowed since birth.
It would be recalled that the tweep had previously sought financial assistance from the public to undergo surgery for his legs, as the condition had long affected his mobility and daily life. His plight gained traction on social media, prompting many well-wishers to extend their support for his medical needs.
The online fundraising campaign was notably initiated by fellow influencer Wizarab, who took the lead in rallying support from fans and followers to ensure Baddy received timely medical treatment. The campaign highlighted the urgency of addressing his leg condition, emphasizing that without proper surgical intervention, the challenges he faced in mobility would persist indefinitely.
Due to the severity of the condition, the medical team advised that the surgery could not be performed on both legs at the same time, as the pain and recovery process would have been overwhelming. It was therefore decided that only one leg would be operated on initially, allowing Baddy to recover fully before returning for surgery on the second leg, ensuring a safer and more manageable rehabilitation process.

In the post, he shared a video of himself walking on his newly straightened leg, using a crutch for support, demonstrating both progress and determination despite the challenges he has faced throughout the recovery period.
