Ayotomide Labinjoh, the mother of Anu Adeleke, the alleged daughter of Nigerian music superstar Davido, has once again addressed critics, social media commentators, and the public regarding the ongoing DNA saga involving the singer. Her recent post on Instagram came in response to claims and insinuations that she would not have pursued a DNA test if Davido were not wealthy, asserting that at the time of their initial encounter in 2013, he was “just an upcoming artist” and not the superstar he is known as today.

Davido Was “Just an Upcoming Singer” When We Met

In the Instagram post, Ayotomide recounted that she first met Davido at the Dani Duro concert after-party in Ibadan in February 2013. She emphasized that he was not a superstar at that time but rather a fast-rising singer and the son of a businessman. This account directly refuted claims that her pursuit of a DNA test was motivated by his wealth or celebrity status, highlighting instead that her primary concern has always been her child’s identity and rights.

Calls Out Daddy Freeze and Dele Momodu

Ayotomide also took the opportunity to call out prominent media personalities, urging them to act responsibly. She addressed Daddy Freeze, asking him to encourage Davido to submit to an independent DNA test instead of publicly defending his image. She criticized Dele Momodu, who has family ties to the Adeleke family, for failing to intervene in a matter that involves children’s welfare. According to Ayotomide, the silence and inaction of these figures perpetuate the challenges faced by children seeking acknowledgment and justice.

Alleged Past Interactions with Davido

In her post, Ayotomide provided more context about her interactions with Davido over the years. She claimed that on the day of Anu Adeleke’s naming ceremony in November 2013, Davido sent her money, yet she described him as “a boy, not a man; a dad, not a father.” She reflected on the fact that for more than a decade, he had abandoned his first daughter, leaving the child without acknowledgment or support, which further underscores her frustration with the singer’s approach to parental responsibility.

She wrote: “Good morning from Ayo Labinjoh. So I heard that I want to make Anu Davido’s daughter by fire by force. So I heard that if he were poor, I wouldn’t fight for my child’s identity since the September 2014 FAKE DNA TEST? Davido was not super rich when I met him. I only knew him as an upcoming/fast-rising singer at the February 2013 Dami Duro concert afterparty in Ibadan, and the son of a businessman.”

She continued: “So @daddyfreeze saw one of the supposed 5 DNA tests, the same one I posted here from Dr. Kemi Olunloyo’s 2018 investigation. Uncle Freeze, just admit you are laundering Davido’s image instead of convincing him and arranging an independent test. Instead, you told the world straight up on a 15-minute live video that Davido is not Anu’s father.”

Ayotomide also addressed Dele Momodu directly, stating: “Even uncle @delemomoduovation, who is close to the Adelekes and an uncle to Anu’s half-sister, Imade, the second child, who also fought a DNA battle, has chosen not to intervene. You see, when these children are abandoned and treated like this, one day they become vocal, and that’s what my princess did, but was cursed out, bullied, and threatened, but was also promised copies of the 5 DNA tests the next day to be published in newspapers and online.”

She further questioned Davido about specific interactions, saying: “David, YOU and I are the only ones who know who I slept with in February 2013. Have you told the world you sent me money on the day of the naming ceremony, November 2013? Have you told the world that on November 9th, 2025, someone initiated a video call from your phone line under the name Adeleke on Truecaller? Isn’t that the day your 5Alive concert hit Ibadan? I don’t pick up video calls, talk less to someone who abandoned his first daughter for 13 years. Are you contacting me for a DNA test or because you’ve seen her Instagram page?”

She concluded with a pointed remark: “You are a boy, NOT a man. You are a dad, NOT a father.”

Ayotomide also listed the five DNA test dates for her children:

Anu Adeleke – September 2014
Imade Adeleke – June 2015
Hailey Adeleke – May 2017
Dawson Adeleke – June 2021
Ivanna Bayy – June 2023 (in-utero, #Terminated)

She emphasized that her faith and strength remain in God and @usinnigeria, mentioning that Dr. Kemi Olunloyo has been sending a token of 300,000 Naira yearly to Anu since they last met on this day. Ayotomide requested that anyone with Dr. Kemi’s contact abroad send it to her via direct message, showing her continued determination to follow up on her daughter’s rights and welfare.
