The outspoken actress took to her Instagram page in a viral post where she questioned why many married men deliberately avoid wearing their wedding bands, a symbol she believes represents commitment, loyalty, and reassurance in marriage.

In her post, Anita did not mince words as she expressed her disappointment, warning that men who shy away from wearing their rings should be ready to hear motivational quotes from her consistently throughout the year.

Sharing her thoughts, the actress wrote: “But men, why una no Dey wear una wedding band? This year una go hear quotes tire oh.”

She further explained the emotional and symbolic importance of the wedding band, stressing that it serves as reassurance to a wife and a visible reminder of a man’s commitment to his marriage.

“Your wedding band is a kind of assurance to your wife. In as much as it’s just a ring, it’s a promise to your wife that you’re still here and still got her,” she added.

It will be recalled that last year was an emotional and reflective period for Anita Joseph, who ended her five-year marriage to MC Fish.

In December, the actress publicly confirmed that her marriage had come to an end, opening up about how life can test one’s strength in unexpected ways, particularly within marriage.

She revealed that she has been navigating a season filled with deep reflection, pain, and healing, while consciously choosing to embrace grace, personal growth, and faith as she moves forward.

Following her divorce, Anita made it clear that she is currently single and not actively seeking a new relationship, despite receiving numerous calls and attention from men.

The actress also emphasized that spending eight years and 11 days in a marriage is not the same as being together for eight months, noting that she needs time to clear her head and focus on herself before considering anything else.

Anita Joseph’s post has since sparked widespread conversations online, with many fans applauding her honesty and courage, while others joined her in calling out married men who fail to visibly honor their marital commitments.
