The neighbour of Allwell Ademola has opened up about the actress’s last moments before her unfortunate passing, providing a detailed account of the events leading up to her death and sharing the emotional experience of witnessing them firsthand.
It would be recalled that Allwell Ademola passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 49, leaving behind family, friends, and colleagues who are still grappling with the shock of her sudden demise.
The funeral and burial of Allwell Ademola were held on January 9, 2026, at Atan Cemetery in Yaba, Lagos, where industry colleagues, friends, and well-wishers gathered to pay their last respects and celebrate the life and achievements of the late actress.
The event was attended by several prominent figures in the Nigerian film industry, including Afeez Abiodun, Rotimi Salami, and Iyabo Ojo, who publicly issued apologies for not providing more support to the actress during her lifetime, reflecting on the importance of standing by friends and colleagues during difficult times.
Allwell Ademola’s Neighbour Breaks Silence
In a heartfelt interview with actress Abiola Ayomide Ayoola, Allwell Ademola’s neighbour recounted the sequence of events on that fateful night, explaining that the actress reached out to her via a phone call at precisely 1:43 a.m., asking if she was home and seeking assistance as she struggled with a sudden medical emergency.
The neighbour shared that she promptly went to the actress’s residence accompanied by her son and husband, but they were initially unable to gain entry because the door was locked, causing a moment of panic and concern as they realized the urgency of the situation.
According to the neighbour, after attempting to reach the actress through the window, she initially saw Ademola stark naked, but the actress quickly covered herself with a short dress. Despite this, the situation became even more alarming as the neighbour observed Ademola gasping for breath, struggling to maintain her composure while clearly in severe distress.
The neighbour further explained that several people, estimated between five and six, had to assist in lifting Ademola into a car in a desperate attempt to get her to the hospital as quickly as possible, but unfortunately, despite the urgent intervention, she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the medical facility.
It was revealed that prior to this critical episode, Ademola had complained of difficulty breathing, and the severity of her condition escalated rapidly, underscoring the suddenness and tragic nature of her passing.
