The family of the late Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has officially released detailed information regarding her burial arrangements, providing fans, colleagues, and the public with a clear schedule to honour her life and legacy.
Service of Songs and Candlelight Procession
In a statement shared online, the family announced that a Service of Songs in memory of the actress will hold on Thursday, January 8, 2026. The event will be followed by a candlelight procession, allowing attendees to pay tribute to Allwell Ademola and celebrate her contributions to the Nigerian film industry.
The Service of Songs is scheduled to run from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, immediately followed by preparations for the candlelight procession. The procession itself will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, following a route from LTV 8 to Oregun Junction and back to LTV 8. An artiste night is planned to commence immediately after the procession, with closing remarks scheduled for 11:00 PM.
Customised T-Shirts for Attendees
As part of the family’s efforts to celebrate the life of the late actress, attendees at the Service of Songs will be provided with customised memorial T-shirts. These T-shirts are intended as a keepsake and a way for friends and fans to collectively honour Allwell Ademola’s memory during the ceremony.
Dress Code for Burial Ceremony
The burial ceremony itself will take place the following day, Friday, January 9, 2026, at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos. The family has specified a dress code for attendees, requesting that they wear a white shirt paired with jeans. White remains the official colour code for the event, symbolising peace, purity, and reverence for the late actress.
