About Smiselo – Akulula ungikholwe EP

Smiselo presents Akulula Ungikholwe, an EP rooted in South African musical storytelling and expressive lyrical delivery. The title, which can be understood as “It’s not easy to believe me” in isiZulu, introduces a theme of trust, understanding, and the difficulties that can arise when people try to make sense of one another’s experiences.

Throughout Akulula Ungikholwe, Smiselo brings attention to personal experiences and the realities of everyday life through music. The project’s title suggests themes of honesty, relationships, and the struggle to be understood, giving the EP a meaningful direction while allowing listeners to connect with the emotions and messages expressed in the songs.

With Akulula Ungikholwe, Smiselo adds another project to the artist’s musical catalogue. The EP offers listeners an opportunity to explore Smiselo’s sound and lyrical expression while engaging with themes that reflect the complexities of trust, communication, and life experiences.
