Album: Inxakanxaka Album by Ithwasa Lekhansela

About Ithwasa Lekhansela – Inxakanxaka Album

Ithwasa Lekhansela presents Inxakanxaka, an album rooted in the storytelling traditions of South African Maskandi music. The project brings attention to the artist’s musical identity through traditional influences, expressive vocals, and lyrics that reflect the realities of everyday life and the experiences of the community.

The title Inxakanxaka evokes complications, confusion, and difficult situations, setting the stage for a project centred on life’s challenges and the experiences people encounter along the way. Through Maskandi’s lyrical storytelling, Ithwasa Lekhansela offers a platform for sharing perspectives, expressing emotions, and addressing situations that listeners may recognise from their own lives.

With Inxakanxaka, Ithwasa Lekhansela adds another album to the artist’s musical catalogue. The project continues the tradition of using music to communicate meaningful messages, preserve cultural expression, and tell stories shaped by real-life experiences.
