Album: MERAKI EP by Islambo & Magicsticks

About Islambo & Magicsticks – MERAKI EP

Nigerian music artist Islambo joins forces with renowned record producer Magicsticks on a new collaborative project titled MERAKI EP. The four-track release brings both names together for a project featuring “DELULU,” “INFORMAL,” “LAGOS PARTY,” and “NEVER FOLD.”

Released on October 30, 2026, MERAKI highlights the collaboration between Islambo, an artist associated with Nigeria's street-inspired music scene, and Magicsticks, a producer known for his work in contemporary Afrobeats. The project offers listeners four songs to explore, with the two creatives combining their contributions under one release.

Islambo has continued to develop his musical identity through a style associated with energetic rhythms, street expressions, and his Lamba-inspired approach to Afrobeats. His previous releases, including “Wire Check” and “AfroBTC,” produced by Magicsticks, established an existing creative connection between the two artists.

With MERAKI, that connection takes centre stage in a dedicated EP. The four-song tracklist gives the project a concise format, allowing listeners to explore each record without committing to a lengthy album. The song titles also introduce different themes, from the playful expression of “DELULU” to the celebratory atmosphere suggested by “LAGOS PARTY” and the determined message associated with “NEVER FOLD.”

For fans of Islambo, followers of Magicsticks' production work, and listeners interested in contemporary Nigerian music, MERAKI EP offers a new collaborative release to add to their playlists.
