The project continues BNXN's run of releases and collaborations while giving fans another compact body of work centered around his distinctive Afrofusion and Afrobeats sound.

With a combination of solo performances and collaborations, Still In Charge provides another snapshot of BNXN's musical direction in 2026.

The release followed a series of singles and collaborations that built anticipation for the project, including “Eja Meja” featuring Asake and “Online.”

Unlike a full-length studio album, Still In Charge keeps its track count concise, with six songs designed to deliver a focused listening experience. The project also brings together BNXN and two artists from different areas of Nigeria's contemporary music scene, creating a varied lineup across the EP.
