The EP opens with “The Price of Becoming (Mpaebor)”, setting the tone for a project centered on perseverance and the realities behind personal and artistic growth. Amerado then moves through a diverse blend of Highlife, Afrobeats, rap, and reggae, showcasing his versatility while maintaining his signature lyrical approach.

The project features Skales on “Fountain,” while Epixode and Ras Kuuku join Amerado on the “Pharaoh Remix.” Other tracks include “Sika Mframa,” “Chacha,” “Obiaa Nte Mase,” “Return of the Lunatic 2,” and “Keteke.”

With production contributions from IzJoe Beatz, MOG Beatz, ItzCJ Madeit, and Shawerz Ebiem, The Price of Becoming presents different sides of Amerado’s artistry, from introspective storytelling and hard-hitting rap to melodic and culturally rooted sounds.
